Vertigo seeks genius user experience designer to join our growing team of world-class designers and developers.
For 12 years, we’ve built a reputation (and client list) that allow us to work on some of the most innovative and high-profile interface projects around. (Windows Marketplace, for example. No small potatoes.) Still, it’s likely you haven’t heard of us. That’s partly due to our size, which is intimate by design. But it’s also because our work has been more engineering/development -focused – the guts beneath the GUI.
Vertigo is now aggressively expanding our UX design practice – interaction design, information architecture, and visual design – to complement our extensive development expertise. We’re looking for senior, ambitious UX designers who can “own” (contribute as well as potentially manage) the user experience effort through all phases of a project.
The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years experience, including work with database-driven, web applications. You must understand complex tasks and user behaviors and be able to translate them into engaging and intuitive interfaces. At Vertigo, you’ll design rich applications that leverage the latest technologies. As a design leader, you will also help shape Vertigo’s evolving identity. Our culture is uniquely collaborative and supportive ¬¬– you’ll be constantly learning and experimenting while delivering at the same time.
